Double-walled fuel storage tanks should be able to meet continuous operation for more than 30 years, and the relevant performance (operation and sealing) can meet the working conditions for a long time. It is divided into SF double-wall oil tanks, SS double-walled oil tanks, and FF double-walled oil tanks.
SF double-walled fuel tanks are composed of inner tanks and outer tanks. The inner tank is a steel shell and the outer tank is a glass fiber reinforced plastic shell; the outer layer should completely contain the inner tank.

Double-walled underground fuel tanks offer several benefits:
- Leak Prevention: The dual-layer design significantly reduces the risk of leaks, providing an extra layer of containment that protects the environment.
- Regulatory Compliance: They often meet or exceed environmental regulations, simplifying compliance with safety standards.
- Durability: Constructed with corrosion-resistant materials, these tanks have a longer lifespan and require less maintenance.
- Space Efficiency: Being underground, they occupy less surface area, making them ideal for urban settings.
- Leak Detection: Many models include monitoring systems to detect leaks early, enhancing safety measures.
